Rayne, I love your Minako so much, from our very first thread and all the way until now that I always want to have two or three threads going on with you at the same time haha... But even before that, way back before the game even opened and reserves were going up and I was so unbelievably excited to see Minako on the list and threw Ryoji out there despite having picked him up as a muse literally only two days prior to learning about Recolle. And I was *so* glad that you reached out and made him part of Minako's AU, because I was too late finding out about the game to workshop, so Minako was basically Ryoji's anchor, in a way, throughout much of the game and even now, being the one person he can turn to for anything. I think a lot of how I play him is him unconsciously trying to be more like Minako, somebody who reaches out and works hard and cares strongly, as well as how he tries to live up to how she views him in a positive light. This sort of love and admiration carries over so well from canon to AU and I'm so glad for it.

I/Ryoji will probably always love Minako as a character by default, but *your* Minako in particular!! I love her because you write her with such detail, where she feels so real and present and distinctly her. Her voice shows so well in both action and words, and especially introspection that I love reading because I get to know Minako better through them and get to love her all the more. I love the little gestures that give her life and how you/she picks up on implications and offhand comments and remember past conversations because of the continuity that shows how well she listens and cares; these things are such key to her character who is able to watch and come to understand people, giving her added layers to her character, and the effort you put into this is apparent. I love how active she is, not only in her place in the game or how she goes around getting to know other characters past the surface level, but how every interaction with her moves forward; as a rper, I appreciate that so much, because sometimes I stall and don't know where to take a thread, but you drive threads forward and make them exciting and that's in part why I will always keep coming back and looking forward to your tags when I wake up in the morning.

tl;dr your Minako has simply been an amazing experience, so thank you for letting Ryoji into her life and me into yours <33

also AAHHH CARD!! I'm so thoroughly touched by your words, I don't even know where to begin! Minako tended to be a lone canon warrior in the games I've had her before, so I had low expectations about castmates, and Recollé was no exception. But with you and your Ryoji I don't have any of those worries at all! Chatting with you on Plurk and admiring at your art is always so much fun, and reading about your long term plans for Ryoji makes me so happy because it makes me feel like we're in this wild ride together, coming up with ideas to make them happy and suffer (but mostly suffer haha). I feel so lucky to have you as a castmate, to have someone who is receptive to all sorts of CR from the cute and spontaneous SoL things to the heavy and emotional angst and everything in between. This is the most fun I've ever had RPing Minako, and a really big part of that is getting to write with you! Because your writing is so freaking amazing!

I never have difficulty writing with you because you put so much life and feeling into each of Ryoji's replies. And I never would've known you'd only picked him up recently, because you write him like you've written him forever. The way you word his thoughts, I end up rereading your tags several times over because I just love the way you describe his reactions, how he reacts to Minako and the things they're doing. Your writing style is everything I wish to emulate in my own writing, and it makes Ryoji a delight to read and play my Minako off of. Before this game I wouldn't have thought I could find a castmate that she and I could click well with, but Card, I found you! The way Ryoji is so affectionate with Minako makes me smile so much. He is unquestionably her biggest fan and best friend who knows her inside out, loves being silly with her and is ready to be her emotional rock just as she is ready to be his. I've wanted that kind of CR for Minako for ages, and I can't thank you enough for the chance to have it.

I really hope everything I wrote just now makes sense, I'm starting to get sleepy as I type this, but I wanted to send a reply as soon as I could once I saw this lovely message in my inbox. Card, you are so wonderful, I hope we can keep writing these two (oh, Minato and Minako things too, I haven't forgotten!!) for a long while to come. Thank you for being the Ryoji to my Minako ♥♥♥

Hey there anon, you're absolutely right, I'm embarrassed that you had to point this out to me. It even said right there in the video that I linked, but I'd skipped ahead to look for a time stamp for a regain instead of properly reviewing all of it and the rest of the lore. Thank you for bringing this up to me, and I'm sorry for not realizing my mistake earlier.
